Why Use BrokerCheck?
BrokerCheck is a free tool to research the background and experience of financial brokers, advisers and firms.
Hi, I'm Conrad.
I started Seastrunk Financial to serve those who think financial advising should be done a little differently today.
My specialty is assisting people who are either retired or about to retire with their financial decisions. I review their overall financial situation and concentrate primarily on "wealth management."
So this analysis includes not only investments, pension and social security maximization, but also the importance of estate planning, income tax efficiency, and 401k/IRA distribution strategies.
So far, I've helped many hundreds of people go through the process of retiring. Unfortunately, I have also met too many people who have made serious mistakes with their retirement choices. In some cases not even realizing the ticking financial time bomb they had created.
In fact, many mistakes have come across my desk over the years. Most of these individuals were obviously shocked when they realized the mistakes that either they or their advisors had made. Unfortunately, it is usually simply too late to correct most of the mistakes.
The major reason for most of these mistakes was simply lack of education. I always tell my clients, "People don't make mistakes on purpose, they just didn't know any better!"
My goal is to bring things up they probably are unaware of and educate people so that they know what to do before they make financial decisions. Its obviously cheaper to avoid a problem than it is to solve one!
